Needlework has been shown to reduce blood pressure and literally make your brain feel good! In this two night workshop you’ll learn how to stitch on cloth with a variety of simple stitches. We will try both freehand stitching (doodling with thread on plain cloth) and counted stitching on gridded fabric. Come learn the basics that can get you started on a relaxing, creative, meditative, and artistic hobby that you can practice for years to come! Newbies and experienced stitchers welcome. All materials provided.
This workshop meets for 2 weeks: Thursdays, September 21 & 28 from 6:30-8:30pm. $50 (2 weeks).
